Lauri Chmielewski, founder of TreeTop Artists, has been a professional matchmaker for over 20 years. She began her career in the corporate world as a Human Resources Manager specializing in employee relations and executive search. However, her most challenging search of all was finding the proper blend of entertainment and education for her two small children.
Enter SteveSongs. Lauri and her kids were captivated by Steve’s participatory songs, smart lyrics and great melodies. When the opportunity arose to become Steve’s agent, Lauri jumped at the chance. As it turned out, Lauri’s matchmaking skills adapted seamlessly to the children’s music scene. In a few short years, Lauri went from booking SteveSongs at local fundraisers and festivals to landing tour dates at top venues across the country, including WolfTrap, Symphony Space, The Kennedy Center, Old Town School in Chicago, and the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
With artists such as Debbie and Friends and Bari Koral Family Rock Band now added to her roster, Lauri has become the premier booking agent for quality family entertainment in New England, the United States and Canada.
When not scouting out new venues, Lauri enjoys time with her husband and two children.
